Josh and Hana request the joy of your company as they marry on Saturday, the twenty-eighth of November, two thousand and twenty-six, by the lake at Lakeside Garden Pavilion, Putrajaya.

How it started

Before the sun came up, there was a hill.

  1. 2020. A sunrise hike up Bukit Broga.
  2. Hana was the only one who brought spare water.
  3. Josh was the one who forgot his.
  4. Six years on, we are still walking side by side.
  5. And now we'd love you by the lake with us.

The one who came prepared

Bukit Broga is the grassy hill near Semenyih where people set off in the dark to watch the sun rise over the ridges. In 2020 we were both on that climb. Hana, being Hana, was the only one carrying spare water.

The one who forgot

Josh, being Josh, had forgotten his. Some love stories begin with grand gestures. Ours began on a dusty trail, with one person who thought ahead and one who didn't, and the morning light coming up behind them both.

Six years on

The hill has become a lake, and the sunrise a late afternoon. We'd love you to join us by the water for the ceremony and dinner, and to be there as the next part of our story begins.

    Come a little early, find your seat by the water, and let the late afternoon settle around you before we begin.

    Garden Ceremony

    Under the open sky, with the people we love most around us, we say the words we have been carrying for six years.

    Dinner Reception

    As evening falls over the lake, we sit down together at one long celebration, our first dinner as husband and wife.

All we hope for is a long, golden afternoon, full of the faces we love.
